When it rains it pours!

Add my thoughts & prayers also as you cope with all this at once..

And this too shall pass..  (2 Corinthians 4:17-18)

I can only say I feel for you .

I went thru something just over a year ago with my mother and thank goodness for Hospice .

She passed comfortably and with dignity .

It is never easy , I hope your mother gets well and your MIL finds peace.

Some good news. Mom was moved from the University Hospital in Iowa City to a nursing home in Baxter(12 miles away ) today.

Prayers are working!!

I can not tell you all how much I appreciate you being in my corner, words are simply not sufficient.

Sorry to hear about your Mother-in-Law, at least it was peacefully. But it is also good news about your mother.  Kind of a mix of emotions I would expect.  Hope you and your family are doing  OK.

Yes it is mixed emotions. Hated to lose Jackie but she had, been through a lot the past 15 yrs, and  is no longer suffering. She has a brother in Greenbay Wi, and 3 inlaw families out of state(Missouri,Florida and Arizona) so we are not having the service till a week from Friday,

Mom is doing well and we hope she will only be in the nursing home for two to four weeks. I spent most of the day getting a TV set up in her room.  Got a universal remote and it would not work, so had a 10 mile trip to get another, got it set up and their cable would only get two channels, so had to hook up an HD antenna. Finally got it working.

Starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel, and I do not think it is a train.

Our time on earth is but a brief moment, eternity is our reward for how we spend it. Moms deserve the greatest rewards!

Good to see you still have a sense of humor through all this.  Best wishes.
