I'am not sure why you would spend your time doing this?If your're repainting why not paint the proper color.Larry

Fixed the link in the original post.

I don't know why either, unless someone wanted a JD & had a Wheel horse.

I've threatened to do the reverse to a couple of tractors I bought raffle tickets on, never had to follow thru as my luck does not permit me to win anything like that.

The reasoning may never come to light. When I have the LGT 165 finished, it will not be a 'stock' paint job as I do not care for the all white seat pan. Since the tractor is mine and I can do as I wish, it will be different. This is the same as to why people do other 'mods', just making it their tractor. Maybe he just wanted to see what it would look like, decided he didn't like it, so is selling instead of re painting.

Painting to suit one's self when planning to keep the tractor is fine, but if planning to sell, way smarter to stick with OE colors. I would not consider buying a green Wheel Horse!

Agreed. I am all about custom colors, but if you wanted something that was JD colors maybe buy a JD, don't paint a different brand colors on a tractor.
