That looks like a shipping container? Good use of space. How do you get them on the upper shelf?

Actually a storage unit. To get the tractors on the shelf we put them in the bed of our truck then used our loading ramps to bridge the gap between the truck bed and shelf.

I like shipping containers myself when it comes to storage. You can weld in a second story storage space an there water proof all steel containers what's not to like.

I've been thinking about getting a shipping container also. Be good clean dry secure storage and would clean up the garages and the yard as I'd put all the attachments in there too.

I had to kick the old lady out of her garage and she's still a bit salty about that.

A neighbor of mine where I used to live had about 15 tractors and quads in his garage. He put up a double deep run of pallet rack across the back and down the left side of the shop. He had a pair of drive on lifts on which he stored a pair of collector cars in order to leave room for the two daily drivers. He used the drive on lift to raise and lower the tractors to the top and middle racks and he used a couple of planks to go between the lift and the pallet racks. The racks he had looked just like the shelving in Home Depot.

This was my design at my old house. Simple but practical. Stored 17 tractors in a 12' wide x 22' deep x 10' high shed. Ramped the tractors down onto a half shelf that was half the height of the upper shelves. Each shelf could be removed as tractors were being removed, and once the shed was completely empty, all of the shelf supports could be removed as they were all recessed down into PVC sleeves that were concreted in the ground.

Three tractors wide by three rows of tractors deep on the ground floor, and two rows of three tractors deep with one center row of two tractors deep on the upper shelves. Used a winch for pulling/lowering the tractors up/down the ramps to/from the upper shelves.

That's officially 10 lbs of green in a 5 lb box.
