I'm thinking of trying to make my own front counter weight. Has anyone tried this? Does anyone have dimensions or diagram for making the front counter weight.

I walked thru the junk yard and found a piece of solid 4" round stock 16" long. Took it home and welded two brackets to fit the front mount holes. Added a bracket to connect to the lift. That way it will work as counter weight for the dirt plow. Weighs 65 lbs.

I went one step further, Was looking for a front counter weight for awhile then saw a bush hog with a really nice front bumper and fell in love.  this is what I wound up with.

I'm sure I can make it myself I'm just in need of the dimensions so as to build it as close to original as possible.
