As some of you know I bought a refurbed Lenovo just a while back. It came with 8GB of memory, but 16GB is the max for it. So i visited Crucial.com and ordered the other 8 GB of memory. It's in there now and things are running very smoothly! I like this computer! I bought it through Overstock.com. I can put a link to the sales site if anyone is interested. I got a 1T hard drive, DVD Writer, Win 8.1 & 8 GB of memory for less then $350!

That seems like a fair deal to me too.  The upgrade to 16Gb is excellent - I have 16Gb in my mac a the church and it is a monster.

That is a good deal Kenny.  Over the years I have had many people ask me what specs in a computer they should be looking at.  The one thing I would tell them is the more memory the better.  As you have stated by adding more memory the computer runs smoother and faster since it doesn't have to hit that swap file.  Glad you are enjoying you new laptop.

It's not a laptop, it's a slim line desktop.
