Been home a while. Glad we all made it and the weather held out. I forgot to take pics. I thank the Bells as always, excellent hosts and entertainers.

I've been home and unloaded for a while now.  What a great day!  I always look forward to this group.  Weather was wonderful and the dirt was first rate.  Sure, there was a rock here and there that Alan swears didn't exist but they really weren't too much of an issue because the dirt was just perfect for plowing.  I like that upper field.  Good seeing everyone again and great job with the pics Alan. My heart felt thanks to the Bell family for hosting and putting up with us again.  Great job!  Have a great summer!

Thank your boss for letting you come.

I also want to thank the Bell family for once again hosting the Plow Day and Show. Also a big thank you to the French Creek Club for supplying food and drinks for today's lunch and to those folks that brought a covered dish to share. I had a great time and it was very nice to see some familiar faces and also meet some new folks.

Alan this is the only pic I got of the one Speedex when it arrived. I won't post my other pics because they are basically repeats of the good shots you already posted.  I do have one other that you didn't show because I guess you don't have a selfie stick.

For all of you who love to plow and have yet to make it to a plow day this year, the attached picture may just get your juices flowing!

Jeff, I think the hood is the wrong color. :poke:
If I recall a certain blue tractor was gaining on the Beaver quite handily at times. But then again Ryan's Massey was not struggling one bit, and leaving a decent furrow for those following him, unlike some people with bent coulter wheel. :poke:

Yeah, that blue tractor was a real pain but, thanks to some well positioned rocks that were as big as A... well, they were big, the blue tractor was slowed down a bit.  The coulter went away after lunch and everybody still wanted to follow that white tractor which, by the way, has a good amount of blue on it.  Leave it to Beaver!

When I can follow a 12 inch wide furrow that is dug at least 4 inches or deeper... My 12" wide tires do appreciate it, and you and I were the only two weighted enough to dig with a 12" plow.

I must confess I was a little surprised at how well that New Holland plowed.  You were a speed plower and were just about throwing dirt across the field.  Very impressive.  I was quite happy with the plowing conditions overall.  I already can't wait till next spring.

I'm glad it went well for all that made it. I really was planning on coming...the guy that was coming for the small trailer was supposed to be here by 8 am at the latest...(because the wife and I were planning on coming up ant then stopping at one of my son's on the way back) the guy finally showed up at 4:15 :mad2: Already had some of the $$$ and he knew where it was, so I didn't really think I could leave the farm...

So Sugar Creek this next weekend hopefully !

Thanks for all the photos
