i got every thing painted today and it looked like glass when i was done . BUT i have a small leak in my roof and it started raining and a single drop of water fell and landed on the finder pan . well it splattered and little drops covered the left side and i didnt catch it in time and it made spots in the paint . ill have to wet sand it and repaint but other than that every thing looks great . guess i need to fix the roof

Thats bad luck for sure. Hopefully you can get it sorted out. I will look forward to seeing the final result. I just bought a 314. The PO had painted it but made a real mess of the job. The whole fender deck looks more like overspray then a paint job. He managed to do a so so job on the hood but the deck is going to need re painting.

That sucks about the water drops, did it disperse the paint or could it actually be buffed out rather then painting it again?

Would love to see pics :D
