Another bolens on the other side of the pond! Nice find!

1656-01 # 0183284

Could the 8 and 3 be a zero?

I'm starting to think more of these tractors made it to the UK than they did to Canada!
Good find, looks in nice shape.

I was talking to a fellow UK Bolens owner, Iain aka slf-uk, about compiling a register or database of recording the serial numbers and models numbers of Tube Frames, Large Frames, GK, EK, LK and RAMs plus attachments here in the UK to see how many there are in existence. I, for one, would be fascinated to know how many there are in circulation over here in the UK. As always this would largely depend on UK owners giving me the # serial numbers.

The second digit in the serial is the modal run.

Jerome.

Do you mean the -01/ -02/ -03 etc....?

How would you decipher Nick's H16 as per se his photo?

Cheers

Andrew

Most bolens tractors after 1973 had that type of serial numbers.

I have posted this link off another thread raised by Iain but originally pasted by Dave (OB).

This confirms Jerome's post.
