delco remy starter question

going through parts and I have a delco remy start/gen number 1101974. on my wheel horse I have number 1101973. Is the only difference that between them is long/short frame. the 74 is 7" bottom mount and 73 is 8". aside from that are they the same I was going to keep it as a spare

I have a couple of them laying around too, I had a thread on these a while back, among other things I had asked if anyone knew of an application chart for them, don't remember the outcome, but (like I had said this had been posted a while ago) I don't think anyone really came up with anything... but I'd think there has to be such a chart somewhere...

This is what I found on the 74

12 volt, 10 amps
CW rotation
short field housing
External Regulator
'A' circuit
Lester # 9194
PIC# 340-62

 

Looks like the 73 is the same except that it is 12 Amps.
