Dad called bight & early this am. Needed to take him to the ER as he figured he had kidney stones. After a long day, the scan showed no stone, so likely a bladder infection, but could be bladder cancer. They got a catheter in, so dad feels fine now. Gotta see his eurologist first thing Monday for further tests.
While gone, a friend who drives OTR tractor trailer asked if he could park a trailer in field lane as his drive won't hold it. He got off the edge & stuck. My Son went to pull him out & the MF2745 died. Been having air get into the fuel system, and it's started again. The tractor trailer tore up the roadside, ended up with our tractor dead there, and Josh had to unhook a 2nd tractor from a manure tank. He didn't have a fun day either.
One of those days all around. Maybe things will improve. And a few weeks ago I thought I'd be plowing with the JB diesel in Vevay! Not quite what I had planned.
Just hope it's a simple infection with Dad. He just got his hip replacement in January, so he's had enough going on for 85yrs old.

Sorry to hear about your Dad.Hopefully its not anything serious.Guess Josh is probably wishing you were at home to help deal with those problems back there.I'am sure you'd rather be dealing with the stuff at home rather then at the Hospital.Sometimes the old saying holds true. When it rains it pours.Hope things all get sorted out soon and all works out for the good.Larry

I'm not in any hurry, do them at your leisure. I have plenty to do, and the only part ready is the grille right now.

Decided to take the wife to dinner at Chinese Buffet to salvage [art of the day. Hardly any food out, but figuring they'd bring more......not. So bad meal too and won't shadow their door anymore.
Then afterwards went to get a mocha at McDonalds. Didn't taste it till way down the road.....tasted like bitter straight expresso. Had to wait till home & doctor it up to drink it. Not my day any way you slice it. Yep, a sorry day. Good thing is I surely have a good one coming soon!..........Don't ya think?
But really, one has to stop & think of all the trouble & pain many face all day every day, and those affected by the tragedies of the tornado's recently. Come to think of it, it's not been that bad after all.

Thanks to all you guys for Dad's well wishes. I feel it will be a simple infection, but will be relieved when the oncologist says so! Man was he a different person when that cath drained the pressure! Never had to know what it feels like, but even at 85, dad is tough, so I know for danged sure it hurts BAD when Dad says it does!
