That looks like it's a low hours tractor. Hard to tell with all the dust but if it's solid all over and the engine is healthy it's certainly worth the asking price, at least in this market up here.

I tried my best last night to justify buying it with the boss, but the jury is still out. Its only 30 mins from my location. Would be glad to go look at it for any member interested.

John deere 300 with 46 inch mower. Tractor runs great and head lights work to. The deck is on it but the belt needs to be adjusted. It has a 16 hp single kohler in it. Tractor is currently being stored in a barn that's why its so dusty. Tractor is being stored in Winchester va and can be looked at there and purchase or can be purchased in Hagerstown md. Im asking $650 obo but I will not let it go for nothing seeing how its in good condition for its age.

For that money I'd risk it.  It is a late one too.

Here is the big question, if you already had a 314 (as I do) would you buy the 300 to replace the 314? Hmmmm..... Thoughts?

2 more ponies under the hood and another hydraulic outlet, if it was me I'd get it. I have a 78 316K (basically a rebadged 300) and love it, you could also put a rear hydraulic outlet kit on it.
