I just purchased a John Deere F510 as a project. Needs some work, and one of the things is the bearings in the double pulley. How do I go about replacing the bearings? I already removed the pulley, and the bearings on the one side were completely shot so i was able to knock out with screw driver and hammer, however I do not know how to get new bearings back into it.... ? Never really worked with something where I have to press the bearing balls into the piece, its always been an entire piece I press in, so I am kind of at a loss right now.

Thank you for your help.

I checked JDparts.com but there are quite a few variations based on the serial number breakdown.  What is the serial of the machine?  38" deck, right?  JDparts shows the 38" as the only deck available on the F510.

A = tractor serial number
B = engine serial (under hood)

C = deck serial

A and C are necessary for the parts diagram
