Can anyone tell me what model transmission is in the 314. I seem to recall it is a Sandstrund hydro and Dana axle but I don't know any more than that.

Thanks

JDBrian, You are correct, the 314 had the same tranmission as the 140, 300 did prior to the 314 introduction. I hope this helps.

Brian

I have always wanted a 140 but have not ever seen one for sale up here. I decided to buy the 314 because it seems to have a lot of similarities to the 140. The frame, steering gear and drive train look very similar. I see you have a lot of 140's. I have a couple of quick questions. I would like to add a second hydraulic circuit to the 314. What JD parts would I need to do this? I know I could do it using a solenoid operated valve and fittings/lines etc but it would be nice to keep it stock. Does a 140 have a float function on the blade lift valve? The 314 does not have float on it's single circuit.

Thanks
