i have a 68 sears suburban 12 that i would like to change the drive belt on but i have no numbers or literature on the belt. the belt adjustment pulley has already been moved all the way so im not even sure if it is the proper belt on it or not. sears numbers would be fine as i do have the conversion table somewhere. thanks

The Suburban 12 (model 917.25630, circa 1970) Owner's Manual calls for a 6474H which is a 5/8 inch by 81 inch V-Belt.
The 1969 Suburban Super 12 (model 917.25311) Owner's Manual calls for the same belt.
The 1973 ST-16 (model 917.25740) Owner's Manual calls for the same belt - so it appears all the single cylinder Suburban's may have used the same belt. The 1973 Twin cylinder Onan SS-16 (model 917.25751) used 2692R which is a 5/8 inch by 84 inch V-Belt.
