Well after I got the new project home yesterday I wasted no time to start working on it. I already had a correct hh140 damn near ready to go for it.

I started by pretty much building a wiring harness from scratch. Really helps when I got the factory bolens diagrams and another tractor with the same harness.

I then had to swap cables as the original ones had been cut for an engine swap.

Today was spent running around trying to find the correct 12pt engine mounting bolts, couldn't find em so I used Allen heads instead.

Got the motor mounted, hooked up the cables and three a battery In choked it and hit the key. She lit up and runs decent.

Just have a few little issues to get worked out, also have to run wire for the lights and figure out the plugs for the stator and the rectifier, tractor currently won't turn off with the key. The motor has some sort of apparatus on the shroud where the wires are and the plugs don't match, I'll get a pic tomorrow

All in all not too bad for a few hours of work.

Looking great...   I was going to ask you a ??? about adjusting the hydro While it was all apart...  But I see you wasted no time buttoning it all back up...  I need to adjust my hydro lever and I don't want to strip the panels all down to the tubes..

  Anyway,,,,,    nice job....

Yeah the tractor isn't in awesome shape but it's not terrible either. Gonna giving a bath today and probably beat some dents and wrinkles out if the sheet metal.

Anyone got the diagram to tie this back to the tractors wiring?

Tractor doesn't currently charge and won't shut off with the key.

Got all the wiring finished up. It now charges and shuts off with the key. Not too bad for a guy that has limited wiring skills. Also got the lights wired just need some tail lights now. Also added all the pto parts as they were missing. And went and dug out a deck and all the correct mounting parts. Also took the easy chair off and put a regular seat on it.

Who makes that back blade that is on the sleeve hitch? I would love a back blade for one of my tube frames, even more so for my ht20 but finding a 3 pt hitch has been very hard.
