Sadly, very few will get this.  My adopted dad was KMAG - Korean Military Assistance Group 1948-1950, then absorbed in to 24ID in August 1950, was in the Pusan perimeter, and chased the North Koreans to the Yalu after the breakout.  He was captured by the Chinese in North Korea while at an aid station where he was being treated for chest wounds and missing finger after his jeep hit a mine.
