Hi I am new to your site. I already own two JD garden tractors a 210 and a 212 with a sleeve hitch. I seen an ad on craigslist for a Ford lgt 165 with a 3 point hitch for $450 and wondered it it was a reasonable price thanks for any insight Glen

Jacobsen made the same tractors for all the brands listed on this subforum from the mid 60s-1971, only differences were paint/decals.  Starting in 1972 with the LGT series Jake badged them under the Jacobsen and Ford brands.  Later on Jacobsen got acquired by Homelite, and Ford switched to Gilson for their garden tractors, hope that helps

Got my 165 home want to post pictures but can't figure out how any help would be much appreciated. Also I downloaded a couple manuals from the site and I can't get my phone to read them was wondering what kind of a reader I need to download. I tried two different PDF type readers and neither would read them

I don't use a phone to upload pics, but when making a post, look for the 'More Reply Options' button at the lower RH of where you are typing. Scroll down for the pic uploader.

Did you save them as a PDF? I use Adobe Reader.
