Morning all, been a while since I've been on. Haven't done much, too cold. Groundhog says spring will be early, we will see. Looking to disassemble my mower deck spindles, they seem stiff probably old grease. Tried to do one last fall, not a success. Anyone have any advice? Would like to inspect, clean and repack. Thanks for any gidance, Bwinkle.

Not sure if yours are the same but on mine there's grease fittings , myself I would just grease them  , if you have the belts off spin them and if loose or binding then take them apart .

I agree if they have grease fitting use a grease gun to purge the old grease out and rotate the blades as greasing, if they start rotating smooth there good to go, if there is a bad bearing you'll be able to feel it, the manuals show the spindle break down well.
