Today I bought this ugly Super 12, mainly for the grille. My brother has a 69 Suburban 12 that needs a new grille. As the picture shows the whole tractor has been repainted, not once, not twice but at least 4 times. After looking it over we tested the engine and it runs nice with gas in the carb which is a bonus. At this time our plan is to pull the grille off and sell the rest to a friend who may want it or part it out since it would need more work than we are willing to put into it. I'll get some more pictures tomorrow also.

Just seen that earlier today. For what you paid for it the you did good.Heck the Magneto is worth more than what you paid for the whole tractor.

I'm lookin for a 48" deck, mule drive and still looking for the darn starter belt guard.Happen to see one cheap let me know?

It was a good price, otherwise it wouldn't have been worth driving a hour and a half one way. The SSI is good and produces a very strong spark.

I have two 48in decks Id sell. One for $35 and the other for $75.

The fuel system needs a good cleaning. In the next few days I'll start taking the tractor apart.

.... last week I was grading out my drive way , I too was missing the starter /generator cover , lucky I never got my foot ate up , the pulley cut my shoe strings on my good Merril tennis , I too had been looking for a cover for a while , looked on e-bay and there was a auction on one and it is in nice shape , bid $9.99 and won it , should be here tomorrow --------wear boots if you are going to run it without a guard ------there were a couple of more covers on e-bay but they were asking a lot
