Across the top navigation bar of GTtalk exists a button called "Tech Wiki". It is not a very popular button, as there is very little information entered by the members of this forum. In fact, I didn't know about it until a week ago, and I am doing my part to add the significant Springfield tech data into the 'Tech Wiki.' I am adding this information from my manuals and personal experiences with my tape measure and scales. I am still about halfway done on the Springfield stuff I am entering, and will finish it over the course of the next day or so. Meanwhile, anyone can edit or add data, so I challenge all of those with the proper manuals and a little spare time, to add tractors or details to the 'Tech Wiki' pages. Hopefully we can start referring hobby newcomers to the Tech Wiki instead of the manuals section for some of those tough questions not found easily in the manuals section. Besides that, I am finding the 'Tech Wiki' easier than PDFing manuals.

Great idea Casey.

I wonder if we could add a "How To" section for things not brand specific.

Perhaps something like this:

How To

  Electrical

       Training Videos

       Formulas

       Testing

       Batteries

       Starters/Starter-Generator

       Rectifiers/Regulator

       Clutches

  Hydraulic

       Training Videos

       Formulas

       Testing

       Pumps

       Motors

       Valves

  Mechanical

       Formulas

I am sure other could add to this list.

Ducky,
There are articles accessible through the home page that include technical help articles, but a tech videos section would be neat idea. If the technical articles on home page could be sorted into the Tech Wiki area those articles would be more helpful yet.

I just want to see more information entered into the Tech Wiki so that it too can be a helpful source of information for others.

Tech videos would be nice, but well served to host them on YouTube or some such.
Maybe it would be best to send them to the site admin and have them load the ones they need into the GTTalk YouTube acct directly.

My thoughts were to put the info that is already here and put it in a central location making it easier to find.  For the video how about just putting the links in the wiki.

That is a good idea on the videos, just make sure they are at You Tube and not Facebook! Some of use do not do Facebook!
