I signed up for these classes last night as a distraction for my mind since garage time is limited right now.  I will let you know how it goes.  The special has been renewed for another week.  With a "sign-up" email I got another 10% off for a total of $18.05 for the online classes.

Have fun learn Travis.

That is a great price for somebody new to the Linux OS.

You should learn a lot there.  Hope you can download the training so that you can review it later.

One of the books I got for Linux is Ubuntu Kung Fu.  Had it for years.  Learn a lot from it.

There are a lot of great book out there to help somebody learn and understand Linux (Unix).

Watch out.  After your training you might had a lot of people asking you what to do and some tricks you can do.

Strictly for you young computer nerds.  At 75+ I am not going back to school or take any class to learn a new OS.  When the time comes I cannot run Windows any more the plug gets pulled and will play Solitaire.

I'm looking forward to hearing how well the training is.  Also like Lyall said if you can download material for future use / reference.

My biggest problem is remembering the commands and the syntax for the command.  I just don't use the CLI that much to say proficient. One book I have found that is a good reference book it the "The Guide to Linux" and "Linux in a Nutshell"

Thanks guys!  I am excited to get started.  Once I finish a few year end/new year items at church I will get started and let you know what I find out.
