The wife went out this evening for some quilting guild, hen party, thingy that women do.

This afternoon I got the hood decals for my John Deere 70.  So while she was gone I brought the hood in from the cold workshop and used the dining room table for a workbench.

What I failed to do was return it to the workshop before she got home.

She came in from the garage looked right at it, said,     "Oh that's pretty, now get it off my table".  I of course said  "Yes Dear"  :D

Nothing wrong with tractor parts in the house. I had a brand new pair of 6.00-16 tractor front tires in the kitchen all Winter one year and Mom never said a word until Spring lol. Mom puts up with a lot of tractor parts in the house. Dad and I usually have piles of parts in the house. Purely a storage issue. No part cleaning occurs in the house.

Clever man, it's the papers that saved you. Of course you'll never know what happened at the quilting guild, lol.
