Well, I got it out, but had to cut some welds to do that! That sucker was stuck!

Got the plugs knocked out!

Set it on the scale to see what I had! 40 lbs. isn't bad!

DSCN1544.JPG

Got it set back up for the second one!

Nearly done and it sprung a leak!

Got the Tractor Port  logo stamped in the first one. Kinda hard to see, but it was pouring outside right then.

Well, I haven't broken into the 'unclean' lead as yet! Have to weight it up and see how many could be made!

Are you planning on leaving them bare or are you going to paint them or coat them with something like plasi-dip?

Jim

Thinking of paint! Not sure how plasti-dip would work with a 'soft' center!

I did check this last one for sticking and it is free! Still pretty snug to the mold, so gonna need some wiggling to get it out. Now to get them painted and build some hangers! Since this one lost some lead from leakage, guessing 35+ lbs. That's 75 lbs. at least between the two!

I got the last one out of the mold and removed the plugs from the handle & such. It weighs in at 39 lbs., so between the 2, I have right at 80 lbs. in suitcase weights!

Been trying to think through a mount for these. Challenge is getting the hood open with them on there! I thought I had a pic with it open, but I guess not! Anyways, the grille shell and hood are one piece. So I have to figure out how to mount these to not interfere with it opening. May just put them in the tool box for Ball Hollow and add 80 lbs to the rear for plowing!

What about a swing out mount? Pin the crossbar on both sides veritically so it can be swung either way with weights still on it.

Good idea, Casey! Have to pretty healthy to handle that 80 lbs. I hope next weekend will be decent so I can look into that situation. Last one before Ball Hollow! Decent weather this week to maybe get something done!
