I have My Family Mobile service from Wally World. Had issues with my phone getting service (bars) here in the house. I had just bought a cheap phone to start with. Today, I upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy Prime. I like it so far. No bars issues now. Plus, it's bigger, so everything shows up better.  :dancingbanana:  :dancingbanana:

I have a phone from wally world. So far it has done well. With piggy back on several networks, you can have better overall coverage.

I have a Motorola Moto-X, I have had good luck with Motorola as far as getting signal bars when others right with me (and different brands of phones) have none.  I don't use half of the functions on it, (probably more), heck I didnt use half of the doodads on my  flip phone// which I'd gladly go back to if I could find a decent one/ seems they went the way of the dinosaur, at least as far as getting a new one goes.  my last one was just plain wore out. Hinge shot, edges of screen black, battery dying, etc. But I'd had that one a while.

Have had a couple Samsung products and only had an issue with one.  Had a real problem getting anything done on warranty.  Ended up using my private warranty policy and got it replaced with no problem.

Put my phone in the washing machine yesterday. The outcome wasn't pretty. Wife wanted a Galaxy so now she will be getting one as I told her I would use her old one. Nobody to blame but myself as I was trying to help with the wash.

We won't talk about what happened to the Vacuum cleaner or the control panel on my lathe today. :(

First smartphone? Sounds like the big screen is already helpful. Enjoy.

I've had a few of these, but didn't have this big of a screen. It's about 2.5" wide X 4.5" tall. The screen itself is bigger than the old phones!

Wife and daughter got new Samsungs.
The camera on them are really nice, almost professional looking.
And the screens are big enough to read. But that comes at a price... It's almost to big.
I asked my wife why she bought a small tablet instead of a phone.

I had it on the charger last night. Got it charged up and unplugged it. Checked this morning and it is still at 100% charge.  :dancingbanana:

Plus, the charge cable is a USB type. Have the wall adapter and one for the truck, so I can keep it charged.
