Started in on the 110 JD today( a long read with pics)

Never thought of that I still need to redo the seat an foam

It's not as hard as you think. marine vinyl is cheap. I never done it before but I used the old seat as a pattern.
make sure you get heavy duty thread. I got it hobby lobby for 3 bucks. I did have my mom sew it all together I have no idea how to run a sewing machine and really didn't want sew my fingers together. all said and done I recovered it for about 30 bucks and have ton of material left over.

The seat on the 110 is a one piece so no sewing will need to be done im just not sure how to get the banding that holds the cover down to the seat pan

there's a dude on here Chevy 29 or 29 Chevy he did a really nice write up about seat recovering I picked up a few tips from that post.

I was thinking having the cover embroidered though but depending on the quote for getting it done comes back

Never mind i.figured it out once I removed the motor. So.here is an.update as of a little bit ago.of how Averys 110 sits the oil is drained carb is full of gunk from gas in July that was treated.

No pictures yet but yesterday I removed the seat cushion from the seat pan an today after work im going to work on cleaning the pan an treating the rust then hopefully getting a coat of paint on the seat pan today I went with a gloss white tractor enamel.

So these are from this afternoon an of course I got Avery thought she should be part of the cleaning process. The seat pan has been treated with the ppg 2 step process as well as the frame where I wire brushed it.

With luck an help from a friend tomorrow the motor will be rebuilt an the seat pan welded up an ready for paint.

Well my bearing came in an the motor will go together this Saturday tonight I pressure washed the tractor to get the remaining grease off.
