There is a company out of the UK that sells throttle cable kits and clutch cable kits, great to work with, they also sell the tool your looking for I think the name is venhilldirect.

I've been doing that bend for years with a needle nose and pliers!

Me too, and I have no need for a special tool.

I am not a fan of one dimensional tools which explains why I don't have a 10' long hemi powered tool cabinet but having had to bend the numerous throttle cables over the years  i think I have room in my pliers drawer for a $14 cable bender.

I have a friend who is a gunsmith, makes all his own specialised tools. Is there someone near you who has that hobby and could make up what you need?

I've made them with needle nose pliers but they really make a Z that is too wide. I suppose I could grind the pliers down.

I would go with Doc's before I bought from some nameless entity online.

It's cheap and he says they work. What's not to love?

Yes that is me selling the ones on ebay :D
Everyone has had good experiences with them so far and definietly better than needle nose and alot faster, once you get the hang of it you can get a z bend in 5 seconds.

There is also a heavy duty model but no one has wanted to buy one yet due to price ... actually it looks like they obsoleted it in my 2016 products lists :wallbanging:

If you need any other tools I have alot of the common stuff like ring compressors ect. instock and try and get USA made stuff when possible.

what's your ebay store listed under. I will purchase one
