My wife called their customer service to ask for an explanation of our telephone bill. There is an item on our bill that is labeled "My Frontier Hot Spot" and is charged $6.99 a month. She asked for an explanation of what that was. She talked to four different people who gave her four different descriptions. None could agree or perhaps didn't want to say what it was for. Finally, she got someone to fess' up. It seems back when we had Verizon service, this was a fee for modem service and repair. When Frontier took over our area service, they discontinued this fee. They didn't apply it to new accounts. But they left it on the existing accounts unless someone called and asked. No! They don't give refunds and we've been paying this for nothing for several years.
Guys, you have to check your utility bills with a magnifying glass!
