lyall:

Interesting info. My 140 H1 was a '73, serial # 055311M, type T0585. I just tried to find if the type means anything special. Maybe just that it was an H1?  Just wondering.

Type code tells if it was H-1 or H-3, it also tells if it was a custom Color machine starting in 70.  It also tells which tires were installed on the machine.

Thanks everybody for the info. I feel kind of dumb, cause I just found the Type code deciphered in the 140 Service Manual. Apparently I have a Green H1 with a serial number of at least 046501. I didn't see anything there about tire size in the type code, but from a table there, my tire code was probably a GT-4, but could be a GT-6).
