As you are aware large frame attachments in the UK are very rare, but managed to find myself an Haban Flail Mower.  Someone has messed around with it previously, they had tried to make it fit on a 3 point linkage for the rear of a compact tractor and they had moved the roller and the wheels.  I have now put it back to standard and it doesn't look bad.  The chap i bought it off also gave me a complete set of brand new flails (not that it needs them!)  As you can see from the pictures, i am missing the frame which bolts on to make it fit on the front of the Bolens as the chap removed it when he made it fit the rear of his compact tractor and he no longer has it.

If there is anyone who has one (even if you are not in the UK), i am willing to buy the frame off you and pay the postage costs.  1.JPG 100_2101.JPG 100_2102.JPG 100_2103.JPG

Nice looking Flail, have what you need, hopefully you'll find one on your side of the ocean, it's heavy , I'm swamped and painfully slow .. There are also telescoping lift rods that go to the rock shaft to raise and lower , no spares of those, however could most likely fab you a set if interested. But a Bolens LF guy with a damn nice Haban Flail that's in need cannot be ignored! No idea how to ship it , some one on here just got a minnie copter / drone ,what's the range ? can he fly it over? Okay seriously I'll try to help not sure where to start

It might be simpler to provide specific dimensions so a duplicate could be fabricated in the UK.

You have a spare mount?  The Flail in your photo don't need it?   If Dave don't take it I would...  Maine has been broke and welded on by the PO to the point I will have to make a new one.

Actually there is two flails under there and they are complete, this Bracket and a set of the original lift rods were on craigslist add somewhere sometime, I wanted the lift rods, and the bracket .. well it's extra, I'll hook you up if it ends up not needing a passport.

Great attachment Dave. This is the only one I have heard about in the UK although I am sure one or two others are about.

I have a Haban Flail-Mo and have been looking for blades for a long time.

The closest that I can find are the MH-386 blades that are for the Alamo/Mott mowers.

Flail-Master Products carry them for $0.62 each: http://flailmaster.com/our-products/

Unfortunately, they are just about 1" too long and would have to be worked on to make them fit.

That would entail cutting 1" off the top and then drilling the hole.

That doesn't sound that bad except that they are hardened and the cutting and drilling will not be easy.
