All day every day is that worth the asking price, I would be surprised if it is still there. those are great machines, probably a 10hp briggs on there, and there are lots of attachments avail.

Yep, better grab it if you've been looking for one. If you don't, maybe I will.
The crowds ought to be gone by now!

I've got an AC HB212, best cutting mower I ever used.....till we broke the rod.
As long as the BGB ( beveled gear box) is in good shape, that's a really good price

Tahoe how would I check it I am not fimilar with them? Is it made like my allis model b big tractor rear end just smaller ? I wish I could find a deck for it . I asked him what was wrong with it he said just the carb needs cleaned, I ask him why he thought that he said it will only run on choke and won't throttle down. I assume it's that long jet in that flo jet carb. Anything else to look for on those old briggs, I don't do many briggs engines. Thanks tahoeI've got an AC HB212, best cutting mower I ever used.....till we broke the rod.

I am not positive on how to check the BGB, I just know they can be an issue.

Check out this video series. It explains how to check the gearboxes and other important items on a Simplicity/ AC garden tractor with a bevel gearbox.

Tech if you go look at it and it needs a bgb , I have one for a simplicity 3012 3112 3212 , allis b212 212 etc.
Easy to check these things...Look for leaks, shaft play and gear play. its basicly like a differential.
Anyway I have one and will be willing to trade it off for something if you need it.
