Transaxle is done. I went with the High-Strength lining 6224K341. It has a lot of metal in it, It bonded fine, buy you need to zip tie the band so to be close to the final shape needed. I filled with 5 qts 30W Non-detergent. Everything spins fine. Next up is the frame.

Experimented with removing the old decals (in one piece). Used a heat gun and razor on a small one with good success. I am out of "Goop off" so I tried carb cleaner to remove the glue, it came off like black tar. I hope to get one of the large decals off in one piece so later I might find someone that can reproduce them. I can create the shift decal but will need a good picture of one to go by.

Got the old decals removed, and have been prepping the frame rails for paint. Been too wet and humid for painting, hopefully get these parts done tomorrow. I have a trip planned to Ennis TX Sunday to pick up some parts machines with some (hopefully) parts I can use.

What kind of carb are you needing? I can see if he has one.

I'm for sure he doesn't have one. Matt more into LTs and most 80s and up.

A couple more restores and it will be all painted.

I'll let the paint harden some more before I start adding items. Shop door is open to clear the paint smell. Still going to Ennis in the morning. Oh, and RED did good, got 1/2 the yard cut, no knocking after I changed the oil.

Thanks to Matt (98 Murray) I have acquired several parts that will be useful on BOH, Hulk II, and RED! About a 6 hour round trip, and took a full tank in the Ranger to get there and back. It was an enjoyable trip. Once I got home I had to finish mowing the yard, and the Wife has decided to clean out the other shop so I need to move the rest of my stuff (junk to her). I used Hulk II and the abused trailer to move my "junk". Then I needed to move the booty from Ennis TX (Thanks Matt) from the drive out to my shop. Old Girl worked a treat under load. With the 2" receiver I installed on her I almost wanted to drive further with the loaded trailer. Got everything to the shop, taking a break and watching the Simpsons before I unload Hulk II. I scored a 42" deck mainly for mandrills and pulley parts, A Briggs 18 Opposed Vertical for a Spare for RED, Dash with the metal plate insert, A complete sleeve hitch (will work good on BOH) and the metal steering bracket for Hulk II. A couple transaxles, and steering parts.

Sounds like a good score on parts. I am going to have to go to work on the Craftsman (III) GT20 for Steve! The plowing bug has bit him good!
