I'll get to RED this afternoon, kinda chilly here in Texas this morning, Have the heater going in the shop. Paint is dry and the engine is finished. I'll finish setting the air gap and break out my 10 amp power supply to test it out.

I looked for the Part # for the brake lining that I had ordered before. I think it went with BMP's book when I sold him. I think I located what I need at http://www.mcmaster....lining/=11mjf5t Part # 6224K341, Metal free High Strength 1" X 3/16 strip. I'll order 2 feet, and keep some on hand.

This is as far as I'll go on the teardown of the transaxle. Very slight seepage on the left seal, not enough to warrant replacing it. Clean up under the shifter boot, some rust under there that is making it stiff. I pulled the Hi-Low pin and emery clothed and oiled it, shifts fine now. Deciding on the color scheme for it.

Still thinking on what I want to do. I have done Black/Silver on the Roper, and Silver/Black on Hulk II. I'll probably do something with the Grey, but I think I like the Black/Silver better.

I like the black with silver accents.
You could intro another color... Say Red?

A dark Red will go with Gray well!

Red is not speaking to me. Black, Grey, and Pulleys in silver. Being under the tractor this should work. I did manage to pop both drive and brake pulleys off, and some dremel detail. Contemplating changing the one questionable seal. Not sure of the best way to remove the old one. Usually use a small flat tip and hammer it into each side of the seal and pry it out staying away from the seal seats. May need to order a few more seals. But as I said the seepage doesn't seem bad enough to warrant doing this. Another option would be to add some of the voodoo seal restorer when I put new oil in. Building funds for the brake band and paint.

OOps, forgot pictures.

I usually use a sheet metal screw and a slide hammer if they are junk.

It is nice to have something to take my mind off "Life". Too much pain and death going on lately around me. Progress on the Transaxle, Almost ready to paint. Brake band material has been ordered, I got 3' coming as I use this stuff often.

Not much to report, Thought some would be interested in the little valve that allows you to add oil without burping, and how I attach brake band material.

Neat little valve! Where did you get it? Like your clamps for the band too!

Hope you don't need a jump start before that sets up.
