We never fed rabbit to much hay mostly because hay isn't cheap but also I had a strict diet for the show rabbits.

Ok. Lots of rabbits around here get fed hay from what I understand.

Well to be fair mine doesn't get just hay. He gets rabbit pellets mostly but now and then I do take a hand full of hay to him to munch on. I have lots on hand because I have alpacas. He also gets apples and vegetables.

Mine only get processed grain unless we are giving them a treat. We want the largest meat rabbits we can get, but hay can load on the fat sometimes if they get too much. Not good on the show table either.

Ok. Most of the rabbits around "here" are pet rabbits. I would assume that they would get fed hay...
