Sounds like you need a pulley for a Cessna hydraulic pump. I have one of those pumps on my Cub 147 with a Johnson loader and I heard that those 7/16" bore pulleys are hard to find. Some people use a cast pulley with a separate hub, most likely a taper lock bushing.

Good luck with finding that particular pulley. Have had one on a shelf for over 15 years, maybe 20, that came off of a Roper FEL and was the only reason I ended up selling the tractor. Have plans for using the pump, if I can ever find the right pulley or figure out how to modify one to work.

When I can get to my lathe, I just make a bushing to fit in the pulley or bore the pulley out. I made a sleeve bushing for the engine to PTO clutch on my Wheelhorse 35 years ago and hasn't slipped yet. Cut the slot through the sleeve and then fitted a larger key with a file. You might try a piece of 3/8" pipe and bore it out. Check that it will press into a 1/2" or 5/8" pulley. I cannot justify the money for a set of broaches so, I just use a file and time. Good Luck, Rick

This is interesting. Making a keyway in a pulley with a lathe.
