I'm looking for a new, or good used hydraulic cylinder that lifts the mower deck on a Massey Ferguson 16 garden tractor. I believe the snapper part number to be 7019565. My cylinder is leaking from back of cylinder at anchor end, not ram end. Local hydraulic shop is going to soak me $350.00 to rebuild old unit. I was thinking that I might find a good used unit, or new old stock cylinder for less. I have looked around the net a bit, and best I can find is a "o" ring kit. "O" ring kit might do the trick, but I 'll look kind of silly bringing cylinder back to same hydraulic shop if "o" ring kit doesn't do the trick. Was just thinking that someone may have a good useable cylinder for less money.     Thanks MH44d.

Try Surplus Center and Bailey Sales for Brand new cylinders at very reasonable prices. http://www.surpluscenter.com/ and http://www.baileyhydraulics.com/ Warning you will want a few hours to explore these sites. Good Luck, Rick

I have a cylinder off from a MF14 or a 16. According to the parts books they are different part numbers but I think they should be interchangable. The stroke should be the same for both as should be the hose fittings.  Let me know if you are interested.
