Picked this up last Friday:

So what do you think? I do have a few parts I need. Air cleaner is missing. Both tires are shot. 3.00 x 7.

and I need ignition parts. Can anyone identify the motor? It is a Briggs, but the plate is long gone. I really want to get this running in the spring.

Also, I assume this is some type of gear reducer engine. A model N?

Thats an interesting machine! Never seen one like it before around here.

The engine looks to be an N series Briggs most likely and does not appear to have the optional gear reduction on it (Just a plain engine back plate)

The points and condenser for tha engine will be these ones

Air cleaners are easy to find on ebay for not a lot of money.

If you dont buy them from me just watch out for the aftermarket sets, I would stick with OEM briggs parts

The engine may be a B&S Model N or early Model 8.

The model N's had a 2" bore, the model 8's had a 2-1/4" bore.
