I discovered that my Toro Snow Hound snow blower is missing two chains. I can't remember if I took them off or they were missing when I got the machine. There is one chain still on it. Yes , it takes three chains and a belt to operate. I suppose I will need to remove the remaining chain to see the numbers on it to see what size to buy. If I remember correctly , the roller chain is sold by the foot, or by the inch, I suppose.

When I worked in a brg supply store that sold roller chain, it only came boxed in 10' lengths and that was the only way it was sold. Can't speak for the rest of the country's vendors. Hopefully yours are all the same pitch.

I just go to my local farm equipment shop and get what I need. Cut to length and the connectors I need. Maybe a little more costly but no waste on my end. If it works for farmers it will work for me. I needed just over 7 feet of 70 roller chain on the weekend and was glad the local Case/IH dealer was open. This was for the blower on the AC 200. Just remember you get what you pay for with roller chain. Lots of cheap chain out there. My dad used plenty on the farm and in his later years would only use John Deere chain as it is high quality. I am sure some of the other brands are good also.
