Went over to my old house tonight, noticed side door to garage was unlocked.  After looking around, I noticed my welder is missing :mad2:  :mad2:  :mad2:  :mad2:  :mad2:  :mad2:

Deductible is 1000 on the house so it will be out of pocket so no fab work or repairs for me in the future. Guess I will have to sell another tractor or something to raise some money to replace it.

They also got into the house right after New years and stole a bottle of laundry detergent and a box of brand new spark plug wires. I think it one of my son's old buddys, stuff fits what he would take. I heard there is a drug people are now making out of detergent, that would explain that being gone. They open some of cabinets too, my wife thinks they were looking for prescription drugs we may have left.

My son was leaving back door unlocked so he could come in and get water for rabbits we still have over there, not sure how they got my welder though.

I gotta get that house cleaned and sold, becoming a thorn in the side.

Buy an antique welder. You know the kind, the hernia giving kind. :D

I hate thieves. We were hit once that required going through both homeowners and the business policies (they took garage tools and business tools). That was two thousand dollars of deductibles (1000 per insurance company). That was royal pain, all the tools were replaced, but the copper wire and scrap copper was what we chalked up in the deductible... Total theft was well over $5000 worth of value, if not more, it was a few years back so fuzzy on dollar detail.

Sorry for your loss. I have to agree with you though, between your rabbit problems and now thieves it sounds like it is time to move on. The way things are going they might steal the For Sale sign from you.

Sure hope your luck improves.

I hate thieves! We got hit years ago. Took cash my wife had put back for a new flute for our daughter (#1 flute in PA) and also some other cash. All told about $3200. Insurance cut us a check for a little over $200 and was all too happy to raise our rates on anything and everything. Nothing like being robbed twice. I feel for you man.

Thats unfortunate but if the thieves don't have immediate buyer the welder will be up for sale cheap and likely could be located depending on how populated your area is.  Not many folks want a hot welder, not even the larcenous characters.

 Good Luck!

Wow, i SOOO hope you're no longer with that company.

Would you like to share the company that provided such a unique definition of "Customer Service"?

sorry for your lost.

years ago I had a house fire - total lost.  had things from my garage taken.  Others tried to go through the ashes to see if they could find any thing.  Caught one and asked which they think they were doing.  they had not answer.  I told they this is my place and get the h___ out of here and do not came back.
