I picked six of these up from the job site today.

IMG_1814.jpg

I'm not sure what the original purpose was but they were used to hold the temporary fence in place. They are 55# and have a nice carry handle. the T slot must be for what they originally mounted on. I am going to use them on the back of the 195 as counterweight for the loader. I have a 300# steel plate there now that is used for the pickup in winter. These will fit much more compact and can easily be changed up or down based on the need. I plan on picking up 4 more tomorrow. :dancingbanana:  :dancingbanana:

Hope not using ALL of those on one tractor?  Best have good strong mount for those beasts. Wonder if they were for heavy equipment maybe?

Elevator weights. Seen them stack up piles of those in our building when they rebuilt our elevators. They certainly are a nice size for ballast weight. I wonder if the elevator maintenance companies ever have any of those for disposal/sale. They might sell them for scrap or slightly higher prices, especially if you are willing to come lug them away.

Yes on the back of my 195 . I have a platform for the 3pt hitch to help when I load the bucket. Presently have 300 lbs on there now and lifts with no problems. Just going to replace the single weight with these little ones.
