I can't place what brand this is and the owner can't find it anywhere.  Can you guys help me?  He said it's a Kohler engine.  I'm curious, and not knowing is driving me crazy.

Boy hard to tell from the one photo If I had to guess I would say the engine has been replaced at some point. Too bad they didn't add a couple more photos to the listing

I know, right?  The wheels, bolt pattern, and hubs are a little different eliminating many possibilities, but don't in and of themselves answer the question for me. That engine is unusual (and I wouldn't be surprised if it was indeed a replacement engine, as you suggest), as is its orientation on the frame.  I feel like I should know it, but I just can't place it.

Bready Pow'r-flo used a Kohler engine in that orientation. It would be nice to see the drive.

I dont know what it is? Spring field? seems pretty expensive with no attachments
