From what I just read the tractor is in pieces and not much is left. I agree that better things will come along, this seems to be a real mess and not worth the price.

I bought the Simplicity equivalent for $200 two years ago. It was running with mower deck, snow plow, and tire chains. Be patient, a better deal will come along. I wouldn't pay $50 for that tractor but the tiller for $100 would be interesting if it was good. Good Luck, Rick

That's most Michigan GT prices for ya. If I ived closer I would go and make an offer. I have a motor that would fit that real nice. Thanks.                                Roger

If he has the idler pulley set to go with the tiller then $100 is a great buy, at least in my neck of the woods.

Things seem to be more "pricey" here.

Still isnt worth 250 with that many problems.

Yeah, the rear lift kit alone is worth the asking price.

It is already parted out...

Allis Chalmers 716 Simplicity lawn tractor. Engine threw a rod.
Tractor has been torn apart.
Only a few pieces left - the rear end, no hydro, tires are shot. Still have Seat and Hood. Comes with rototiller ($100.00) and mower deck - middle spindle is froze up ($50.00). Will part it out just let me know what you want and what you are willing to pay.
The parts are on Ebay now.
