Would never get that tractor on the trailer by myself. Worked good. Now to get the engine out.

A winch can be a life saver when the GT's aren't running! I have a 5000# on my trailer.

Nothing like a good winch on a trailer,  I have one for my 16ft trailer. I think it's 3000 or5000  with all the people asking me to haul there cars to repair shops

Patrick.

I only have a 2000 lb ATV winch on my trailer but it has saved me more than once.  Even if I gotta manually help the winch by "pushing" while the winch pulls.  Only had to do that once, on a unit with flat tires. As long as a machine rolls on its own,, it can actually do more than 2K lbs    But it really helps in getting one up the ramp-gate.

That electric winch would be nice. I'm still cranking away and glad I have that.

I like the tilt bed trailer over the ramp gates.  Tilt beds have a far less angle to pull them over.  Have a 3000# winch 12 V on mine and have not stuck it yet. (knock knock)

Have an old boat winch on my small trailer.  I only have it there for when Casey buys a tractor tho. :poke:

On the 18' trailer, we have an really heavy 5000# winch that we only take when we need it.  to damn heavy to carry all the time.

Glad you got yours up there.  Fella could sprain his spring trying to push that up the ramp

None of my trailers have winches on them, and I own 3 manual and 3 electric winches. I usually just bring a come along or just short hook a chain and pull one on with the running one when loading up.
