I have some pictures of my Farm Hand. I had it at some shows this year.I dont think there are very many of these around. I do know of 7 others. I figure there has to be more around. The tractor was built by Jake only one year. Any other information out there i would like to hear.

I like it! Those round fenders are very cool! Just out of curiosity, is the steering wheel out by 180°? Or does the hood open with it that way?

I would guess its in the stock position Kenny and the hood will open just fine the early Simplicitys came with the same wheel. Here is my 700

I think it's possible that they were made in 1962 and 1963. Mine was purchased new in October of '63. I have heard of a few others around my area but have only seen one other in person.

Someone contacted me about a year ago to ask me what they were worth. I said it would be hard to say without seeing it first. I called him the following week to ask about it again and he said that he hauled it in with a load of scrap. I never saw it so I can only take his word on what he had.

I made an attempt to call the recycling facility and they told me that after several days it surely would have been shredded. It made me somewhat sick to hear that, but it's a sad reality that many old machines like it had a similar fate.

Nice looking tractor. I just bought one a month ago after a long search for one.I only know of a few

of them also. Mine is complete but of course needs restoration. My serial tag is on the side shield also but I can only read the numbers. Would you be willing to post a close up photo of your tag so I could see what the rest looks like? Thank you.

I wish Jacobsen would have kept those round fenders! I really like the looks of these!

 Welcome to the forum! We'd like to see pics of your tractor if you could post them. Pic uploading isn't too hard, check the link in my signature for a video on that.

On my tag, only the numbers are visible also. I have a snowblower with the tag that is in slightly better shape but still worn. One can guess what it should look like if you look at it closely. I have not seen a nice original tag. I drew up a sketch of what I think it should be after examining the one on the snowblower.

Here are a few pictures I have. Sorry about the sizes Kenny, I still haven't figured out how to fix the setting on my camera if you wouldn't mind resizing them..

First is mine, second is one I was able to see while it was being restored and the third is from the original mower operator's manual.
