Cool tractor. I's say a Simplicity built machine, similar to a 716 AC (7016 Simplicity?). Maybe a 7014?

Likewise I say it a Simplicity built machine  I'm thinking a 3414 only with a 13 hp engine (maybe Simplicity derated it for JC Penny's)

Marvin,  Neat tractor!

Is that the one you had at Penfeild?   I'll have to check my pictures.

You have just got all the cool machines.     Rick

Nice to see you post and share Marvin! Welcome!

The Pennys machine is identical to a Simplicity Baron...kinda a mid grade model between the Landlord and Sovereign. Of course the Pennys badging makes it probably 1 to every 5000 Simplicitys. Quite a few have turned up over the years, and some folks have created clones, much like what has been done with some of the Simplicity built Wards tractors.

In 1975 Simplicity made a 7013 model that look like it has a B & S engine in it.
