You'll have to counter balance with springs or something so that the runners don't try to dig in/you can still lift it.
Also, the front end spindles and axel will take some add'l abuse.


What about having it on skis so it doesn't have to be lifted?

I would think the skis would try to take it up on top of the snow.
Not trying to be a negative Nellie, but wanting to explore the possibility of issues.
