Well I painted it red this weekend. I used Van Sickle paint. I couldn't justify spending over $100.00 on paint for this blade. Bad mistake, that was the worst paint I ever shot. I used the hardener with it and I guess it looks okay  but it was a pain. It says to use Naphtha thinner which I did but I don't like it as I have had problems with that thinner before, it kind of balls up the paint. I wish I had not thinned it and tried that first. Oh well it's red and now I can put it together and put the decals on it. Excited to see if the lift will pick it up.

It might be okay if you don't thin it with Naphtha.

I got it completed tonight and back together. The tractor raises it and everything works like it was supposed to, very happy.

Dan,

That looks REALLY nice.  Well done!  Those decals really set if off as well.  Did you make a serial number sticker also?  I see a small decal on the rear of the lift arm mounts.  Nice touch.  It matches the tractor great also, which you did a wonderful job on that as well, especially the 3 pt hitch.  Looks GREAT!  Great looking combo.  Thank you for sharing the process.

Doug

Yes the serial number plate has Model MF 21 1/2 and the serial number is 52016. I had the MF garden tractor serial number decal duplicated with these numbers on it.
