I have been working on a diesel conversation for my HT20 for a year or so now. I am now picking the project back up. See attached photos.20141025_163959.jpg 20141005_170236.jpg 20141003_194129.jpg 20141003_153832.jpg 20140316_145235.jpg

It will power the PTO also. But have had to go down to two belts rather than three. I have had it driving and running. But I need to mount everything properly now.

Looking great.  Will that battery block off the air to half of the radiator?

The engine is about 24 hp 3 cylinder. The battery will be replaced with a slightly smaller one with will leave a good 2 inch gap between the radiator and battery.

The 3-cylinder Perkins I bought from a member here came off a welder/generator. Best I can find out it's 22-24hp.

I like your weld jobs very clean. So that diesel must really thump with that pepper can exhaust. I hope it is not too restrictive for that engine. Nice job I really like it and I love diesels.

Are you planning on extending the original hood (bonnet over there in the UK), or are you going to make an entirely new top section and attaching the grill to it?

The pepper pot is just a temporary I will have a exhaust made to make it look original. I will also be having a new bonnet top made. With the bonnet tapering from front to back I don't think you could extend it without it looking original
