Hi folks,

I have a Huski tractor that needs a new home. It was one of my fathers toys that he used from my childhood to keep his vegetable garden. The last time I remember it running was probably 25 years ago. It comes with the following implements: Front push blade, single bottom plow, disc and cultivator. It has a Wisconsin engine that (by the serial #) that might be a 1946. I kept it thinking I might restore and use it. That's not happening as I have more projects than I know what to do with. It needs a new home. I'm not asking any $ for it. For sentimental reasons I can't see it going to the scrapyard. I'm in West Chester PA. Any Interest?

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure someone here can take it off your hands and get it back to working condition.

I'm sorry to hear you don't have time to tear into yourself. Hopefully whoever ends up with it can keep you updated on any work that goes into it.

Hi, I'm in the process of trying to ready a home for sale. Time consuming at best!. I'll try to get pix up by the end of the week.

Thanks, Stew

Do you still have the Huski available? I am very interested in getting it. As long as the weather permits, maybe even this coming Saturday.

Thanks, Greg

I know you are very busy trying to sell your house but could you take a picture of the tractor and post it? Or maybe I can give you my cell via a PM and have a picture sent to me if that is easier.

It looks like I am about 2 hrs east of you in Chambersburg, Pa and if this Saturday would work for you could come down in the morning.

Thanks

Actually I'm about 2 hours east of your location! I am a near tech illiterate when it comes to uploading pix whether via puter or cell phone. I was 14 over 50 years ago! We had a snow event and I expect to have the driveway cleared tomorrow. This tractor has good bones, but at 60 to 70 years old will take some TLC. The "HUSKI" logo is still clear on the end of the fuel tank. The engine can be turned by hand. Beyond that, the throttle cable will need work to free it up. After that a bit of fresh gasoline should start it up.

Stewfisch,

I would like second choice if Nittanylyn does not take it.

I would like to play with it...I will not junk it or sell it.

I'm between Quarryville and Oxford.

Thanks,

Dave

Stewfisch - will this Saturday work for you then? My plan is to be at your address around 9:00 or 10:00. If this works for you then I can send you a PM and get your home address.

Broken Arrow - I will let you know if for some reason this falls thru for me so that you can get this but as of right now I do plan on getting it.

Hopefully you will have this running and can bring it up to the Loyalsock Valley show Aug 5-7. They are featuring walk behind tractors and hosting the Vintage Garden Tractor Club Expo this year.

Is that near Williamsport, Pa? I have never been to that show although it sounds like this may be a good year to start since they are featuring the walk behinds.
