Well the snow finally found SE Ohio last night and today. Wasn't too bad first thing this morning, about 4 inches on the level at 6:30 AM, I was gonna use the 12hp to plow the lane when I got the animals taken care of this morning. THEN it really cut loose !! Gotta admit folks I cheated this afternoon by 3:00 when my 4wd Jimmy couldn't make it past the first drift to go do the neighbors animals I went and got the JD5410.  For those of you not familiar with a JD5410, I'm 6 foot and can just look over the hood on this tractor when standing on the ground. The photo below is from inside the cab (the door handle in the bottom left corner is just about hood high as a reference) after I've been working thru the drifts. 35 mph winds, the windchill well below 0 F. Oh ya, we had lots of really nice days this winter and now it looks like we are gonna pay :(
