Hey guys, I have been around GTs all my life, but somehow missed out on a fine tractor. I have a friend who has a large snapper tractor, with a two cyl briggs. He is looking for something to till and work large garden/small farm. He is looking for a AC "G" because he can no longer take the walk behind tiller. Are attachments as available for the Snapper brand as they are for Massey etc? I am completely ignorant of the Snapper brand. Will be hitting the galleries and trying to acquaint myself. In the meantime, any history of the tractor, such as compatability with others, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help, George

Depends George. The only Snapper tractors I've seen with Briggs engines were more a yard tractor. Without more info as to model, I don't know what to tell you. Likely though, it isn't what he'd really need. The Allis G would be great for some things, but I don't think they can run a tiller, but then again I'm not sure. Larger acres needs larger tractor though. I take it you have no pics?

Guys, thank for quick response, will get pics and model nos this week, camera was safely at home in it's case when I was up there. The G i figure is notwhat he thinks it is. But, I think he could do wonders with a rear mount tiller on a GT. And for the amount of money that the G will cost[very expensive around these parts] you could outfit a large GT with everything you need. I need to see if this Snapper he has will do the job.

Pics and details later in week

Thanks, George.
